RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE GRANT AGREEMENT FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT THE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, PROJECT NO. 8-05-033-01

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has executed a grant agreement dated February 5, 1973, to the FAA for federal participation in improvements at Jonesboro Municipal Airport; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has requested a revision of the project by Amendment No. 1 to grant agreement; and

WHEREAS, it is determined to be in the interest of the City that grant agreement be amended as further set forth in attachments and that Amendment No. 1 be accepted by the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that said Council does hereby accept grant agreement Amendment No. 1 to the grant agreement for Project No. 8-05-033-01 set forth at length in the terms of the amendment, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution and that the Mayor of the City is hereby authorized and directed to execute necessary documents on behalf of the City of Jonesboro.
