AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO 2006 JONESBORO ECONOMICAL TRANSIT SYSTEM SUBSIDY

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:   

SECTION 1: The sum of $130,000 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund for the City of Jonesboro Economical Transit System subsidy.

SECTION 2: It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this ordinance, being necessary to provide the necessary funding for the Jonesboro Economical Transit System, shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
