A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT WITH CARTER & BURGESS, INC. FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES, PILOT PHASE AT 307 E. CHERRY STREET

WHEREAS, Carter & Burgess, Inc. proposed  a contract with the City of Jonesboro in November, 2005 to provide engineering services related to drainage analysis for area upstream of 307 E. Cherry Street; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has determined that drainage analysis includes site investigation, data correction, current conditions analysis; and

WHEREAS, Carter & Burgess, Inc. assumes that storm sewer drainage analysis will be necessary for this project; and

WHEREAS, Carter & Burgess, Inc. has agreed to provide such basic services at a cost of $11,868.00.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

Section 1.  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Carter & Burgess, Inc. to provide additional services, pilot phase at 307 E. Cherry Street.
