A RESOLUTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE JONESBORO ECONOMICAL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN TO TRANSPORTATION OFFICE MANAGER

WHEREAS, It has been determined that the duties of the Accounting Technician have increased significantly and the increased duties justify the title and rank of Transportation Office Manager;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The title of Transportation Office Manager in the Transportation Department is added to the City of Jonesboro Pay Plan (Resolution No. 2004:02) in Grade 13, Step 4.
SECTION TWO: The 2007 annual budget for the City of Jonesboro will not be affected by the addition of the Transportation Administration Supervisor.
SECTION THREE: There are sufficient funds in the federal grant AR-90-X076-00 budget and no additional money will need to be appropriated.
SECTION FOUR: The Human Resource Department has reviewed the job description and has indicated that” The recommendation is for the jobs to be a grade 13 consistent with the Office Manager job description that is in our current pay plan.”
SECTION FOUR: Due to the immediate need to facilitate efficient operations of the Transportation Department this resolution shall be effective immediately.
