RESOLUTION TO APPOINT NEW BOARD MEMBERS TO THE JETS COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY BOARD

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has agreed to appoint new board members to the JETS Community Transportation Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Coordinator and the Community Transportation Advisory Board have determined that the need to replace two Ward positions is necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Coordinator and the Community Transportation Advisory Board have approved the appointment of Jimmy Cooper, of Ward 3, as the Ward’s representative; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Coordinator and the Community Transportation Advisory Board have approved the appointment of Kathy Cole, of Ward 4, as the “At Large” representative.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO THAT:
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to approve the appointment of Jimmy Cooper, Ward 3, and Kathy Cole, Ward 4, “At Large” representative, to the JETS Community Transportation Advisory Board.
