RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A UTILITY EASEMENT IN BROWNS LANDING ADDITION AS REQUESTED BY JOHN & DOROTHY ROBINSON

WHEREAS, John R. and Dorothy A. Robinson, have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the City abandon a 7 foot utility easement which runs along the North side of Lots 1 and 2 of Browns Landing Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND
WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned easement and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on September 18, 1995, at 7:15 o'clock p.m. at City Hall, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
