AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1664 OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THE SAME DEALING WITH LICENSE AND PRIVILEGE TAXES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: The following categories shall be amended as follows:
#34 CATALOG HOUSES, All persons selling by catalog and storing in and distributing goods $250.00.
#77 GASOLINE FILLING STATIONS, Delete (c) which is an additional $12.00 fee for mechanical tune-up and repair
#78 GRAIN ELEVATORS
Less than 750.00 $500.00
More than 750.00 $2500.00
#97 LAUNDRY OR LINEN SUPPLY
Add Section D to include Dust and Mop Control $150.00
#105 MANUFACTURERS

Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace and welfare, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
