AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON GOLD COAST DRIVE LOCATED IN OUTBACK 2ND ADDITION

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
 
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to Gold Coast Drive designated as follows:
 
Part of Outback Second Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas being more particularly described as follows:
 
Begin  at the Southwest Corner of Lot 6 of Block A of Outback Second Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; thence North 86º46'48″ East 155.02 feet; thence Northeasterly along a 286.500º curve to the Left with a radius of 20.00 feet a distance of 29.81 feet; thence Southeasterly along a 24.913º curve to the Left with a radius of 230.00 feet a distance of 93.34 feet; thence Northwesterly along a 286.500º curve to the Left with a radius of 20.00 feet a distance of 24.90 feet; thence South 86º46'48″ West 170.69 feet; thence North 0º02'46″ West 60.10 feet to the point of beginning containing 0.249 acres.
 
SECTION 2: A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
 
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas finds and declares that the above streets and portion of streets are not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owners of all the property abutting the above streets are in favor of the closure and vacation of the above streets and that therefore an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
