A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BIDS FOR BLEACHER AND DUGOUT COVERS AT JOE MACK CAMPBELL PARK

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Joe Mack Campbell Park located at 3021 Dan Avenue; and

WHEREAS, in 2007 the City of Jonesboro was awarded the Parks and Tourism Outdoor Recreation Grant to construct bleacher and dugout covers for the little league baseball fields at Joe Mack Campbell Park; and

WHEREAS, the project was bid and the low bidder was CNI construction with a low bid of $106,000.00; and

WHEREAS, the funds for the construction of the bleacher and dugout covers shall come from 2008 budget line item 09-100-0632-08; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro accepts the low bid of $106,000.00 from CNI Construction for construction of bleacher and dugout covers at Joe Mack Campbell Park

Section 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
