RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE JONESBORO MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO RECEIVE FEDERAL GRANT FUNDS FROM THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION TO EXECUTE GRANT PROJECT AS OUTLINED IN THE GRANT AGREEMENT

Whereas, the Jonesboro Municipal Airport applied for a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration to implement a runway improvement project; and
Whereas, the federal funds amount is $24,890 and the local match amount is $1,310; and
Whereas, the local match amount will come out of the project budget for the Jonesboro Municipal Airport; and
Whereas, the City of Jonesboro budget will not be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS, THAT:
Section 1: City Council authorizes the Jonesboro Municipal Airport to receive said funds as described in the grant agreement; and
Section 2: The Mayor, Harold Perrin and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate said agreements.
