AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.954 KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: That Ordinance No.954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro is amended as recommended by the City Planning Commission by the change in zoning district boundaries as follows:
1. From Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3) of property described as: South Belmont Addition and including Main Street. Begin at the Southeast corner of Belmont Addition; thence South 89° 30’ West 233 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence South 00° 39’ West 9.77 feet to P.C. of 11° 03’ curve, Delta Angel 43° 55’ to right 397.4 feet to P.T. of said curve; thence South 44° 19’ West 259 feet to P.C. of, 7° 22’ curve, Delta Angle 44°09’ to left 200.4 feet; thence North 60° 33’ West 286.13 feet to the Northwest corner Lot 11 of Marlo Acres Third Addition; thence North 43° 55’ East 458 feet; thence North 37° 28’ East 171.34 feet; thence North 16° 12’ East 110 feet to the South line of Belmond Addition; thence North 89° 30’ East along said South line 242 feet to the East line of Main Street, the point of beginning proper, containing 4.81 acres.
2. From Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-4) of property described as: Begin at the Southeast corner of Belmont Addition to Jonesboro, Arkansas; thence South 00° 23’ West along quarter section line 514.5 feet; thence North 77° 04’ West 236.4 feet; thence South 42°25’ West 325 feet; thence Northeasterly along 7°22’ Curve, Delta Angle 44° 09’ right 53.1 feet; thence North 44° 19’ East 259 feet to P.T. of 11° 03’ Curve, Delta Angle 43° 55’ left 397.4 feet to P.C. of aforesaid curve; thence North 00° 39’ East 9.77 feet to the South line of Belmont Addition; thence North 89° 30’ East along aforesaid line 233 feet to the point of beginning proper, containing 4.81 acres.
