BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the Mayor be authorized to employ a Secretary for himself and the Chief of Police.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 2^nd day of May, 1955.

Correction of 4-18-55 minutes of Council meeting May 2, 1955.

In the resolution offered by Mr. Taylor the name of John Gordon was left out. His salary was increased to $225.00 at that time and voted on and passed along with the sexton of City Cemetery. F.J.B.
