AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 14, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES

be it ordained by the city council of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: Title 14, known as the zoning ordinance of the city of jonesboro, Arkansas be amended as recommended by the metropolitan area planning commission by the changes in zoning classification as follows:
from residential R-1 to commercial c-3, the following described property:

A part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 28, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
From the Southeast corner of said Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 28, run N 89°07’06” W, a distance of 361.24 feet to a point; thence N 01°28’06” E, a distance of 3.70 feet to the point of beginning; thence N 89°46’09” W, a distance of 325.94 feet to a point; thence N 01°28’07” E, a distance of 981.49 feet to a point; thence S 89°17’54” E, a distance of 149.92 feet to a point; thence N 01°28’07” E, a distance of 288.14 feet to a point on the south right-of-way of Race Street; thence along said right-of-way, S 89°46’09” E, a distance of 176.00 feet to a point; thence leaving said right-of-way; S 01°28’07” W, a distance of 1,268.40 feet to a point; said point being the Point of Beginning, said tract containing 8.50 acres, and being subject to drainage easements.
