MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Patteson, Mr. Lamberth
The minutes of the May 8, 1990 meeting were approved as prepared.
#1 RZ90-13 Floyd Prescott requested rezoning from R-1 to R-2 for 15 acres, more or less, located on a part of the NW 1/4, SW 1/4, T14N, R4E. The property is located on the east side of Mitzi Lane, south of Darlene Drive.
A motion to approve this request was made by Mr. Vance and seconded by Mr. Aycock. Voting
was 5 in favor, 0 apposed, REQUEST APPROVED.
#2 MP90-15 Floyd Prescott requested approval of a two lot minor plat containing 15 acres, more or less. The property is located on the east side of Mitzi Lane, south of Darlene Drive.
A motion to approve this request was made by Mr. Vance and seconded by Mr. Aycock. Voting was 5 in favor, 0 opposed, REQUEST APPROVED.
#3 RZ90-18 & MP 90-16 Rex and Eddie Meredith requested rezoning from R-1 to R-2 for 3.1 acres, more or less, AND approval of a two lot minor plat, located on a part of the NW 1/4 of Section 8, T14N, R4E. The property is located on the east side of Patrick Street, north of Pratt Circle.
Mr. Coleman made a motion to table the rezoning request, asking the inspection department committee to reevaluate the Meredith’s request for an extension of time to complete their project and to go ahead and issue a building permit. Prior to making a second to this motion, Mr. Vance stated that if the committee did not grant such an extension, this item would be back before the MAPC at the next meeting. Voting was 5 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST TABLED.
Mr. Sloan made a motion to approve the minor plat subject to a 20' drainage easement being granted on the eastern boundary of this property and subject to a total of 30' from centerline being granted on Patrick Street. Mr. Aycock seconded the motion. Voting was 5 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS
