SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING MAY 8, 1978
The Jonesboro City Council met in special called session, Monday, May 8, 1978, at 5:00 p.m. Present: Mayor, City Clerk and the following named aldermen: Park, Sanderson, Hinson, Shelton, Stricklin, Province, Haigler and Smith. Jim McKinnon, Director of JUR and five members of audience were also present.
Mr. Sanderson offered the following resolution:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PRE-APPLICATION FOR SMALL CITIES PROGRAM FUNDING-1978
A member of Acorn read a letter to council and Mayor endorsing the application. Mr. Parks moved that the resolution be adopted, seconded by Mrs. Haigler. All voted aye. The resolution was given the number 1978:08.
This concluding the purpose of the special called meeting, council adjourned.
