RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE AND ABANDON AN ALLEY BETWEEN CULBERHOUSE STREET AND OLIVE STREETS

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That the 19th day of May, 1969, is hereby given as the day for the hearing upon the petition of the abutting property owners for the abandonment and vacated of the following described alley in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas
An alley 10 feet in width running East and West between Culberhouse Street and Olive Street in Block B of Nesbitt's Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, platted and filed for record in the Recorder's office at Jonesboro, Arkansas, in Surveyor's Record _____ at page _______.
The City Clerk hereby is directed to give Notice of the time and hearing of said meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County, Arkansas, having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The Notice shall state the names of the persons who signed the petition, the name of the alley, or parts thereof, to be vacated, and shall identify same by the abutting lot and block numbers and the Notice shall advise all persons that on the 19th day of May, 1969, the Council will hear and determine whether the above described alley shall be vacated.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 1969.
