BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: That Ordinance No. 954, known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro be amended as unanimously recommended by the City Planning Commission by the change in zoning boundaries as follows:

From Residential R-1 to Commercial C-4, all of the Foxwood Addition to the City of Jonesboro, less and except Lot 1 of Block “A” and Lot 1 of Block “B”. Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that the proper use of the tracts of land described in this ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning and that, therefore, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace and safety, it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
