AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954 KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES FROM R-3 TO R-1 LOCATED IN ALL OR PART OF NOBLES ACRES ADDITION EXCEPT FOR LOTS 1 THROUGH 10 AND LOTS 22 AND 23 OF BLOCK A

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 954, known as a Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro be amended as unanimously recommended by the City Planning Commission by the change in zoning boundaries as follows:
From Residential R-3 to Residential R-1 of: This property is described as being all of the Noble Acres Addition to the City of Jonesboro, less and except Lots 1 through 10 and Lots 22 and 23 of Block A. This property being more specifically described as the N.E. corner of the W ½ of the S.E. ¼ N.W. ¼ of Section 21, Township 14 North Range 4 East, recorded in Deed Record 123 at page 24, in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that the proper use of the tracts of land described in this ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning and that, therefore, an emergency exists and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace and safety, it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
