AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3067 AND THE JONESBORO CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING TWO HOUR PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF JACKSON AVENUE EAST OF CHURCH STREET

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Section 8.40.14 entitled, “Parking in Rented Spaces” Subsection (A) be repealed in its entirety; AND
SECTION 2: That Section 8.44.14 entitled, “Parking Time Limits Designated” be amended by adding Subsection (A) (5) to read as follows:
“The Fourteen spaces located on the north side of Jackson Avenue east of Church Street shall be designated as two-hour parking.”
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall take effect January 1, 2000.
