Arkansas State Highway & Transportation Department (AHTD) entered into an Agreement of Understanding for Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation of existing bridges. The bridges that have been determined top priority are as follows: West Nettleton Bridge over Christian Creek, West Matthews Bridge over Christian Creek, North Culberhouse Bridge over Christian Creek and West Washington Bridge over Christian Creek. The project requires a 20% match from the City. The resolution number is 1983:21B and was approved by the City Council on February 21, 1983.
