A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAMS, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

Body

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro is wishes to amend certain budget items and projects in its Community Development Block Grant Programs of which the funds are 100% Federal Grant Funds; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro incurred excessive cost in the Presidential/federally proclaimed disaster FEMA-1819-DR. and requires assistance; and

WHEREAS, The CDBG Citizen Advisory Committee and Mayor approved the following changes as set out in Amendment which is attached; and therefore recommends the approval of Amendment 2009-1 to the City Council.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT: to revise the CDBG Budgets and Projects as set out as an attachment in Amendment on this date.
