The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Alderman McCall.  Members present were:  Tim McCall, Alec Farmer, Chris Moore and Cecil Province.  Others in attendance were City Clerk Donna Jackson.

CITY TREASURER APPOINTMENT

Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman Farmer to recommend to the full council an ordinance appointing Mr. Larry Flowers as Finance Director, retroactive January 1, 2003, and be placed on the agenda for April 19^th.   All voted aye.

REPLACEMENT APPOINTMENT - FINANCE COMMITTEE

Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman Farmer to replace Councilman Young with Councilman Roddy on the Finance Committee and to reduce the number of committee members from six to five in the Public Services Committee.  Councilman Young had requested he be replaced.  All voted aye.

BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

Councilman Farmer moved, seconded by Councilman Moore to recommend all Boards and Committees be reestablished using their anniversary date with all expiration dates being January 15^th.    All voted aye.

ADJOURNMENT

Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman Farmer for the meeting to adjourn.  All voted aye.
