RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 507 WEST WOODROW STREET FROM THE PROPERTY OWNER, GWB RENTALS, LLC

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to acquire property located at 507 West Woodrow, Jonesboro, Arkansas and owned by GWB Rentals, LLC; and
WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Senior Planner is authorized to obtain property donation requests on behalf of the Jonesboro Land Bank Commission;
WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Land Bank held a regular meeting on March 12th, 2024 and voted unanimously to recommend the acceptance of the donation of the property located at 507 West Woodrow, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby accepts from GWB Rentals, LLC the donation of property located at 507 West Woodrow, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Harold Copenhaver, and City Clerk, April Leggett, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the acceptance of this donation.
