Atlas Asphalt's contract for cold milling and overlays for selected City streets

Atlas Asphalt was awarded the contract to provide asphalt cold milling and overlays for selected City Streets and was signed March 22, 2010. The contract amount is for $466,699.75 for Job No. 2010:04 with a work completion date of 180 days from the time the Notice to Proceed order is issued. The resolution number is RES-10:021 and was approved by the City Council on March 16, 2010.
The contract amount was increased by Change Order No. 1, which increased the contract to $473,989.76. The increase was needed to pave newly constructed roads in Nettleton Cemetery.
The contract amount was increased a second time by Change Order No.2, which increased the contract to $481,412.85. The increased was due to the addition of sections of Owens Street, West Nettleton and Twins Oaks, as well as the overlay for roads in Nettleton Cemetery.
Atlas Asphalt also entered into a second contract with the City to provide asphalt cold milling and overlays for selected City Streets and was signed on June 1, 2011. The contract amount is for $453,762.12 for Job No. 2011:18 with a work completion date of 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed has been issued. The resolution number is RES-11:053 and was approved by Council on May 17, 2011.
