RESOLUTION TO GIVE CITY EMPLOYEES THIRTEEN PAID HOLIDAYS FOR 1972

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize the outstanding performance by City Employees of their jobs and duties, and,

WHEREAS, it is found that these non-uniform employees perform in the service of the city with the highest dedication and loyalty, and,

WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize these city employees through a monetary design;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that all these city employees receive thirteen (13) paid holidays for the 1972. Fireman and policemen shall be excluded solely because of other provisions providing for said compensation.
