RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A SET OF PROCEDURES TO PROCESS PUBLIC REQUESTS FOR RECREATION AND PARK FACILITIES

WHEREAS, Jonesboro Parks and Recreation needs a formal process to evaluate and plan for capital improvements;

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Citizen Advisory Committee has been charged with making such recommendations;

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Citizen Advisory Committee has developed a set of procedures to hear capital improvement requests from community members, plan for those capital improvements and recommend capital improvements on an annual basis;

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Citizen Advisor Committee has presented a set of procedures to the Public Services Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Parks and Recreation Citizen Advisory Committee has established a set of procedures to process public requests for Recreation and Park facilities.
