A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF FIRE STATION #4 AS PRICED IN BID #2011:19

Body

WHEREAS, there is a need to construct a relocated fire station 4 in the City of Jonesboro;

WHEREAS, bids for the fire station have been taken, with the low bid of $1,684,900 being received from Construction Network, Inc. of Jonesboro, Arkansas And

WHEREAS, the money for the said services will be obtained from outside financing approved and passed by the City Council

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, based upon the need of the improvements, to accept the bid from Construction Network, Inc and sign any and all legal contracts to begin construction.
