A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS ACCEPTING BID FOR SPORTS LIGHTING AT MILES PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Miles Park located at 1605 N. Bridge Street, Jonesboro, AR.
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro bid the construction and installing of Sports Field Lighting out and opened bids on January 12, 2005.
WHEREAS, the low bidder for the project that meets specs is Tech Line Sports Lighting for bid items 1 and 2 of $39,320.00 which would be in budget.
WHEREAS, One hundred percent of the funds for the project will come from the Community Development Block Grant Budget, fund line item 831-23, previously approved by the City Council and the Department of Housing & Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro accepts the low bid of $39,320.00 from Tech Line Sports Lighting for lighting at Miles Park.
SECTION 2: That the Mayor, Douglas Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
