RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ABANDONMENT OF AN OVERHEAD ELECTRICAL EASEMENT LOCATED ON TRACT 1 OF HERITAGE BANK REPLAT OF THE SOUTHWEST DRIVE MINOR PLAT AS REQUESTED BY S&A CONSTRUCTION, LLC

WHEREAS, S & A Construction, LLC, has filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that the City abandon and vacate an overhead electrical easement on Tract 1 of Heritage Bank Replat of the Southwest Drive Minor Plant; and

WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and

WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned easement and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on July 1, 2008, at 6:15 o'clock, p.m. at the Huntington Building, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
