The City Council met in a special meeting, Monday night, August 14, 1972, at 7:30 p.m. There were present: Pierce, Park, Dr. Bowers, Stricklin, Smith, Bowers, Harris and Knight. Absent: City Clerk, City Attorney, Williams, Darling, Minx and Johnson.
Dr. Bowers moved with Mr. Harris seconding the motion that the Planning Commission recommendation to rezone the O’Brien property be rejected. All of the members who were present voted aye and the motion carried.
There being no further business, Council voted unanimously to adjourn.
