RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON AN UNIMPROVED PORTION OF ROXBURY NARROWS AND YORKSHIRE COVE

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the unimproved portions of Roxbury Narrows and Yorkshire Cove and lots 17 through 29, inclusive, located within Highland Forest Addition, be vacated and abandoned; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas Statue Annotated 19-3814 requires two weeks public notice before the above alley can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the property owners request to vacate and abandon the unimproved portion of Roxbury Narrows and that this matter be heard before the City Council on November 1, 1993 at 6:45 O'clock p.m. at City Hall, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
