AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON NORMA DRIVE, CHARLES DRIVE AND CHINA DRIVE.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the following:
The unimproved street rights of way for Norma Drive, Charles Drive and China Drive, all of said rights of way being located in the Metzler Addition to Jonesboro, Arkansas, as reflected by plat recorded in Deed Record 123 at page 130 of the records of the Circuit Clerk of Craighead County, Arkansas, at Jonesboro, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas finds and declares that the above streets and are not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owners of all the property abutting the above streets are in favor of the closure and vacation of the above streets; and that therefore an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
