RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A UTILITY EASEMENT BY SPRING HOLLOW DRIVE

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that
The 7 1/2 utility easement on the west property line running between Spring Hollow Drive and up to, but not including the 7 1/2 utility easement on the north side of Lot 7 of Block D of Woodsprings Estates, Phase IV, Revised, Jonesboro, Arkansas as shown by Plat of record in Plat Cabinet B page 97 at Jonesboro, Arkansas be legally closed.
WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND
WHEREAS, Arkansas Code Annotated 14-301-110 requires two weeks public notice before the above easements can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owner to vacate the above and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on March 17, 1997 at 6:15 p.m. o'clock, in Municipal Court Chambers, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
