AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE CLEARING, DREDGING, MOWING AND/OR SHREDDING OF DRAINAGE DITCHES FOR THE STEELE STREET PROJECT

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby appropriates $182,000.00 for the clearing, grubbing and construction of a concrete ditch along the S. side of Steele Street, east of Kitchen as per plans by the City of Jonesboro engineering staff.

SECTION 2: This ordinance being necessary for the financial continuity of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas is hereby declared to be an emergency and shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18^th day of November, 2002.
