A RESOLUTION TO ALLOW VALLEY VIEW STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE JONESBORO AREA, ADOPT A HIGHWAY PROGRAM.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:
SECTION 1: “Students with A Purpose” from the Valley View School have volunteered to participate in the Jonesboro “Adopt A Highway” program. As such, they are hereby approved, and shall be officially responsible for the upkeep and adoption of the portion of roadway described as follows:
A PORTION OF VALLEY VIEW DRIVE FROM WEAVER ROAD SOUTH TO MT. CARMEL ROAD INTERSECTION;
SECTION 2: It is further found that an emergency is declared to exist and this resolution being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
