October 10, 1974
The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met in regular session on Thursday, October 10, 1974 in the Court Room at City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. A.E. Scott, Jr.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Scott, Morrison, Cooper, Roddy, Matthews, Smith, Adams, and Wheeless.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Haggenmacher.
OTHERS PRESENT: Gene Martz, Larry Fugate, and Shirley Watkins.
Item #1. Junior Haggenmacher requests a rezoning of Lot 1, Block C of Guy A. Pardew Subdivision from R-3 to C-3. This property commences approximately 164.0 feet east of Oakdale Street on the north side of Nettleton Avenue. A motion was made by Mr. Morrison and seconded by Mr. Roddy to DENY the request. A vote was taken and the motion was passed unanimously.
Item #2. Alex Ramey and Curtis Brown requests a rezoning of Lot A Spurlock First Replat to Jonesboro, Arkansas from Residential One (R-1) to Commercial Three (C-3). This property is located at 3215 East Race Street. Property is further identified as being on the south side of East Race Street. Property is further identified as being on the south side of East Race Street approximately 225 feet east of Middlefield Drive. A motion was made by Mr. Smith and seconded by Mr. Roddy to DENY the request. A vote was taken and the motion was passed unanimously.
Item #3. Jasper Hunter requests final approval of a replat of Lot 7 of Hunter Heights Addition into Lots 7A and 7B. This property is located on the east side of Hunter Drive approximately 300.0 feet north of Aggie Road. A motion was made by Mr. Matthews and seconded by Mr. Adams to APPROVE the request. A vote was taken and the motion was passed unanimously.
Item #4. Professional Acres Medical Development Corporation requests final approval of a property development plan for Lot C of the replat of the Professional Acres Development Corporation...
