AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN BARNETT’S ADDITION, AMERICAN TRUST COMPANY ADDITION, AND COBB’S SURVEY OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST IN THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, on the 6th day of May, 1957, asking the City Council to vacate and abandon certain portions of streets and alleys designated on the plat of Blocks 2, 3 and 4 of Barrett’s Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, appearing in Deed Record 20, page 362; American Trust Company’s appearing in Deed Record 46, page 205 in Jonesboro; and Lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and Part of Lot 3 of Cobb’s Survey of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, recorded in Deed Record 48, page 5, at Jonesboro, said alleys and streets being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
STREET #1 The street running North and South and abutted on the East by Lots 6 through 10, inclusive, Block 2, and abutted on the West by Lots 1, 11, 12, 13 and 14, Block 3, all in Barrett’s Addition to the City of Jonesboro; and abutted on the South by Lot 6 of Cobb’s Survey of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; and abutted on the North by Johnson Avenue; said street being 50 feet in width.
STREET #2 The street running North and South and abutted on the East by Lots 6 through 10, inclusive, Block 3: and abutted on the West by Lots 1, 6, 7 and 8, Block 4, all in Barrett’s Addition to the City of Jonesboro; and abutted on the South by Lot 6 of Cobb’s Survey of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; and abutted on the North by Johnson Avenue; said street being 50 feet in width.
