AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE AN UNNAMED CUL-DE-SAC ADJACENT TO LOTS 14, 15 AND 16 OF PHILLIPS ADDITION.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

SECTION 1:   The City Council finds that an unnamed cul-de-sac adjacent to Lots 14, 15 and 16 of Phillips Addition has never been opened to the public.

SECTION 2:  The City Council finds that said unnamed cul-de-sac adjacent to Lots 14, 15 and 16 of Phillips Addition is not needed for public purpose now or in the foreseeable future.

SECTION 3:   The City Council pursuant to A.C.A. § 14-54-104 (2) (1987) abandons and  vacates said unnamed cul-de-sac adjacent to Lots 14, 15 and 16 of  Phillips Addition as recorded in Plat Cabinet A page 1, and such property shall inure to the abutting property owners to the  centerline of said unnamed cul-de-sac.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, does hereby vacate and abandon that unnamed cal-de-sac adjacent to Lots 14, 15 and 16 of Phillips Addition as recorded in Plat Cabinet A page 1, and further, the City Council finds that an emergency exists and this ordinance being necessary for the protection and promotion of the public health, safety and welfare, it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17^th day of October, 1988.
