RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO GEORGE TURNER AS AN ALDERMAN FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO

WHEREAS, George Turner has for the past three years served the City of Jonesboro as Alderman of the Sixth Ward; and

 

WHEREAS, Mr. Turner has tendered his resignation to the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro desires to spread the following Resolution upon the minutes:

 

RESOLVED FURTHER, Mr. Turner has performed an excellent service for out City and its people and the City Council, the people of the Sixth Ward and Jonesboro greatly appreciate his untiring service. In accepting his resignation the City Council pays its deepest respect, esteem and admiration unto him.

 

FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution shall spread upon the official minutes and become a lasting tribute to Mr. Turner for his devotion to duty. And, that a copy of this Resolution be tendered to Mr. Turner as an expression of the Council’s sincere appreciation and gratitude for the services rendered by him.
