A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A POLICY AND PROCEDURES FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR EMPLOYEE PERSONAL VEHICLE USAGE FOR LOCAL TRAVEL

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE:
It shall be the policy of the City of Jonesboro to reimburse employees for the authorized use of personal vehicles for local business travel whenever a City owned vehicle is not available. The reimbursement rate shall be the current Internal Revenue Service travel rate per mile.
SECTION TWO:
Reimbursement shall be paid upon completion and submission of the Request for Local Travel Reimbursement form included as Attachment A to this Resolution.
