RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO GARY WELLS FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO AND ITS CITIZENS AS A MEMBER OF THE LANDFILL COMMISSION

WHEREAS, Mr. Gary Wells has served the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas as a member of the Landfill Commission.
WHEREAS, Mr. Gary Wells served this community during a very difficult time of cleaning up Industrial waste, that had been wrongfully deposited at our Landfill. This was done to the complete satisfaction of Pollution Control and Ecology. Through Gary’s efforts money was collected from Industry to offset most of the expenses.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make this resolution a part of the permanent record.
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the excellent and untiring service Gary Wells has rendered the City of Jonesboro and its citizens during his term of service on the Landfill Commission.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Gary Wells has performed a great service for our City and its people and the City Council and the Citizens of Jonesboro greatly appreciate his service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1985.
