Dr. Bowers moved that the Council direct the mayor to appoint a committee consisting of Alderman Charles Johnson, Alderman Jim Hannah and Alderman Dr. Bill Bowers to direct the city attorney or another attorney selected by the committee to represent the citizens of Jonesboro and bring their complaints against Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company to the Arkansas Public Service Commission and further that authority be granted to said committee to expend funds to cover incidental expenses relevant to the presentation to the said Commission. Mr. Minx seconded the motion. On calling the roll, all 10 members present voted aye. Mr. Stricklin and Mr. Goforth were absent. Motion was carried.
