RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SELL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1118 CREATH AVENUE, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS.

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to sell and did advertise the property at 1118 Creath Avenue for sell, AND

WHEREAS, only one bide was received from Curtis Tate who desires to purchase property at 1118 Creath Avenue, owned by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas being more particularly described as follows, to wit:

Part of Lot 1, Block 4 of Patrick's 1^st Addition, being the west 88' of said Lot 1, Block 4

WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee of the City Council recommended approval of the sale on August 2, 2005.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

SECTION 1:  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the documents necessary to complete this transaction and accept the purchase price of $6,000 due and payable at the time of closing by the buyer.  The City of Jonesboro shall furnish a Warranty Deed upon closing.
