A RESOLUTION TO ADJUST THE SALARY OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR AS RECOMMENDED BY THE FINANCE COMMITTEE

Body

WHEREAS,                      The Human Resources Director for the City of Jonesboro was hired at a lower grade of the City Pay Plan that was adopted by Resolution 2004:02 and

WHEREAS, The Human Resources Director has successfully completed one year of service with the City as of April 2008;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: That the HR Director salary be increased from a Grade 23 Step 2 ($55,651.60) to a Grade 24 Step 2 ($61,428.95)

Section 2: For the financial and operational continuity of the City of Jonesboro, it is hereby found and declared that this resolution shall take effect after its passage and approval.
