AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE WEST HALF OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST; AND THE NORTH 490 FEET OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST, CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS

Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
It being determined by the County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas, after due notice and according to the provisions of law, to enter an order of annexation on the 28th day of May, 1970, making;
The West Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 14 North, Range 4 East and the North 490 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, a part of the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas. It being found that said territory should be accepted into and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ward 5, consisting of 34.25 acres.
It is therefore ordained that the above described lands and hereby accepted and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, annexed thereto, and the persons residing therein shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
