AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 3100, THE 1999 BUDGET ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM UNALLOCATED SALES TAX TO RESURFACE CURBS AND GUTTERS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby amends the 1999 budget to appropriate $60,000.00 from unallocated sales tax.

SECTION 2: The $60,000.00 appropriation shall be used to resurface curbs and gutters for a portion of Airport Road into the Jonesboro Airport Terminal.

SECTION 3: This ordinance being necessary for the financial continuity of the City of Jonesboro, there is hereby declared to be an emergency and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
