RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO PARTICIPATE AND APPROPRIATE MONEY FOR A PROJECT IN THE CRAIGHEAD TECHNOLOGY PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas deems it necessary and proper to enter into a contract with King Dirt Hauling to move 40,000 cubic yards and compact an area located in Craighead Technology Park.
WHEREAS, Jonesboro Unlimited, Jonesboro Industrial Development Corporation and Judge Roy Bearden (Quorum Court) have agreed to participate in this project in the amount of $20,000.00 each
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Hubert Brodell, Mayor, as the Signatory Agent of the City of Jonesboro, is hereby authorized to participate in this project, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to appropriate $20,000.00 from unappropriated sales tax for this project.
