RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A UTILITY EASEMENT IN RIDGEPOINTE COUNTRY CLUB PHASE III

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the portions of Lots 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7, Block "M", Ridgepointe Country Club - Phase III, previously indicated as a 15' utility easement be vacated and abandoned; and relocated as shown on the proposed replat; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas Code Annotated 19-3814 requires two weeks public notice before the above easement can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the property owners request to vacate and abandon the portions of Lots 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7, Block "M", Ridgepointe Country Club - Phase III, previously indicated as a 15' utility easement and that this matter be heard before the City Council on July 18, 1994 at 7:10 p.m. at City Hall, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 5th day of July, 1994.
