A RESOLUTION FOR THE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT BOARD

WHEREAS, the following appointments have been recommended by the Mayor of Jonesboro to serve on the Stormwater Management Board; and
WHEREAS, according to Ordinance No. 03-2007, the Stormwater Management Board shall be composed of nine (9) members and two (2) alternate members, appointed by the Mayor of Jonesboro, and confirmed by a majority vote of City Council; and
WHEREAS, the members and alternate members first appointed and confirmed shall serve staggered terms of one (1), two (2), and three (3) years, with three (3) members serving a term of one year, three (3) members serving a term of two years, and four (4) members serving a term of three years; and
WHEREAS, the anniversary date is April 30th of each year.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the City of Jonesboro shall appoint the following individuals to the Stormwater Management Board with the following staggered terms:
