METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION
SEPTEMBER 7, 1999(CALLED MEETING)
MEMBERS PRESENT: Beadles, Gott, Little, Krennerich, Phillips, Finley
MEMBERS ABSENT: Shaw, Pitts, Damron
#1 PUD99-1 Affhouse, LLC, requested preliminary approval of plans for a Residential Planned Unit Development containing 204 units, in 35 buildings on 30.2 acres. The property is located on the east side of Caraway Road, south of Sunnymeadow Drive and west of Caprice Parkway.
Mr. Krennerich made a motion to grant preliminary approval subject to the following stipulations being met:
1. Existing trees on the east side are to remain where they don’t interfere with the development or pose a safety hazard. Trees to be shown on final plan.
2. Enlarge page 3 or split into two pages so that it is legible.
3. Install fencing along the southwest property line to fence the ditch outside the development
4. Maintenance and easement documents to be provided to City Attorney for approval
5. Revise plans to be consistent throughout
6. Installing a cul-de-sac at the west end of Caprice for a turn around for vehicles
7. Acknowledgment that the drives within the development are private for the safety and security of the tenants
The motion was seconded by Ms. Finley. All members present voting aye, REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.
